Jill Schroeder, M.Ed, C.Psych

Jill is registered as a Clinical Psychologist in both Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador, providing authorized psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. All psychological services are based on currently accepted and research-based practice in the field of psychology.

Motivated to help you and your children achieve your full potential through increased awareness of patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving, Jill walks with you and your child along a journey of self-discovery. Through various therapeutic techniques, Jill supports an empowered approach to well-being by increasing one’s awareness, knowing thyself, and taking responsibility for personal life choices.

Intern

Avery Potvin

Avery Potvin is a supervised clinician in Ontario with an educational background in clinical psychology. Currently, she is obtaining a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at the Michigan School of Psychology. She continues to gain experience in assessment, treatment and diagnosis under registered Clinical Psychologist, Jill Schroeder. 

 

Avery applies evidence-based therapeutic methods with a psychodynamic treatment approach, emphasizing client’s individual goals and unique experiences. Clients are met with empathy, compassion and unconditional positive regard as they navigate their journey. Avery’s clinical approach is infused with psychoanalytic facets, essential to the development of meaningful understanding of human personality, functioning and behaviour.

Intern

Avery Potvin

Katie Hines

Katie Hines is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Windsor and her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Katie has experience counselling children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of specialization involve treating individuals with depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma-related disorders.

Katie provides a collaborative approach offered in a supportive, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment. She typically utilizes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), integrated with other modalities such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness approaches, or Solution-Focused approaches. She tailors her approach to best suit your needs and goals and work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan.
